A hidden jewel in Anderson. Lots of trails to walk or jog on, and even a pond to fish in. There are several large picnic shelters and a bunch of additional picnic tables scattered about. There's even a great view of the Ohio River. Usually not very crowded!
Excellent scenic place. Very relaxing by seeing colorful trees. There’s kids play area too and water park for summer. Must see place on all seasons. Best place for walking, hiking, running.
Excellent source for lots of activities. This park is a gem set out in the woods almost away from the world which is very relaxing to just step away from our societal lives. Cooking out, fitness trails, kids playgrounds, frisbee buckets for frisbee games, tons of trails to venture and even lots of open areas for the classic basket and blanket picnic. I come here all the time and have been coming here for years and years. Place is well kept and I wish they allow people to be buried here because this is where I’d be buried. Watch out for the snakes near the straw looking field during summer, they seem to love to lay out in the sun on the trails by that straw field and I’ve seen lots of snakes there too so watch out in summer! Do visit the park and do enjoy yourself!
It's an AWESOME place to not only take your kids but to also take a walk/jog/go running! They have a water & dry park for the kids, they have frisbee golf, a nature center, & a gift shop! Love this place!
Such a fun park! Lots to do here. Splash pad for the kids (cost a couple extra bucks), walking/biking trails, great picnic and swingset areas with pavilions for shelter. I find something new every time! Definitely a fan of the Hamilton Co. Parks (buy a season pass for parking and enjoy them all!)
